CFN People was founded in 2004 as a consultancy company under the name ITILLIGENCE. The first customers were global organizations in the transportation and pharmaceutical sectors. The word spread and the company soon became the leading IT Service Management consulting company in Denmark.
In 2005 CFN People became an accredited training provider and started to deliver training in ITIL®, COBIT® and ISO/IEC 20000.
The first projects were ITIL based improvement projects, but after only a few years the company found itself engaged in both IT Service Management, IT Quality Management and IT Governance projects involving a broad number of best practices such as ITIL®, COBIT®, ISO/IEC 27000, ISO/IEC 20000, TOGAF, GAMP (GxP) and Lean. The nature of the projects varied from quality improvement and cost reduction to transparency, compliance, benchmarking and analysis for the Danish government.
In 2006 CFN People entered the market for accredited training materials and a significant part of the Accredited Training Organizations in Scandinavia have since then drawn on the training materials from CFN People.
In 2008 the name of the company was changed from ITILLIGENCE to CFN People to loosen the close association to ITIL®.
In 2009 CFN People transferred its open training activities to a joint venture with ITpreneurs, called ITpreneurs Nordic.
